The negotiations within Inter are rapidly progressing for the new key objective set by management a few weeks ago, specifically requested by Simone Inzaghi for next summer. After securing Croatian midfielder Petar Sucic well ahead of schedule, who will join the Nerazzurri from next June in time for the Club World Cup, the club has also set its sights on another young and highly talented winger.
As reported for several days now, the player in question is Luis Henrique, the Brazilian wide-man owned by Marseille, who has significantly improved his performances under coach De Zerbi, showcasing statistics worthy of a top player. Inzaghi would like him as a deputy to Dumfries, and for this reason, Inter has already begun discussions with both the French club and the player’s agents, aiming to move early and overcome competition from other clubs, such as Bayern Munich.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Luis Henrique has already given his willingness to join the Nerazzurri, but Inter is looking for additional assurances to strengthen their position in the ongoing negotiations with Marseille. Given the player’s valuation of over 30 million euros, Inter’s initial offer for the Brazilian will be around 24 million euros, plus an additional 4 million euros in bonuses.
