The Curtis Jones deal is now finalized. The midfielder, arriving from Liverpool, will be in Milan today to undergo his medical examinations and sign the contract that will tie him to Inter. This was revealed by Fabrizio Romano, who clarified some details of the deal through his YouTube channel.
According to Romano, the agreement with the English club was reached on Wednesday, around 2:30 pm. Initially verbal, the deal then became formal with the exchange of documents in the evening. The journalist emphasized that there was never any doubt about the successful outcome of the operation, despite some rumors circulating in the previous hours.
Inter obtained authorization from Liverpool to allow the player to travel to Italy. The agreement with Jones had already been reached by lunchtime on Wednesday, with the Nerazzurri club only waiting for the bureaucratic formalization.
Romano also specified the final figures of the deal, denying some rumors. The operation will be completed for 30 million euros fixed plus 5 in bonuses, with a total package of 35 million. The agreement also includes a percentage on a future resale in favor of Liverpool. The midfielder will sign a contract worth 3.5 million net per season.
