Five definite absences and three players to monitor: Milan approaches the derby against Inter with a reduced squad and some question marks ahead of Saturday’s city showdown. According to Sky Sport, the injury situation at the Rossoneri is at the center of attention.
For the match against Bologna, scheduled at San Siro, Amorim has to do without several players and still opts for rotations, confirming the basic 4-4-1-1 formation. Among the big names resting on this occasion are Modric and Pulisic.
Regarding unavailability for the derby, Sky Sport clarifies that Saelemaekers, Terracciano, Gabbia, Chukwueze, and Loftus-Cheek will not recover in time for the city clash. There are, however, three players who could return: Rabiot, dealing with a calf strain, Moreira, sidelined with a flexor problem, and Gila, who has suffered an overload in his left ankle.
The most optimistic prospects concern Gila, for whom the chances of recovery are good, and Moreira, who also offers concrete hope. The overall situation counts a total of eight injured players in the Portuguese coach’s available squad.
