Just a few minutes from the kick-off of Lazio-Inter, the big match of the 16th round of Serie A, the nerazzurri president Beppe Marotta has commented on the impending challenge at the Stadio Olimpico. Here are his words:
BIG MATCH – “I believe that tonight it is especially important to evaluate the team’s performance. The rankings are stretching, but we are still in an intermediary phase. We should not talk about runaway teams or contenders for the Scudetto. We must provide answers, but I believe that we can make a good impression”.
SCUDETTO – “In our DNA we have the obligation to compete in the best possible way in all competitions, which means the Champions League final and winning the league. This is mandatory thinking, then if the other teams will be stronger, we will congratulate them. Inter cannot think minimally and be content”.
LAUTARO – “The goal can give comfort to Lautaro himself, who suffers from not having the performance record of last year. The team has no goal problems, but if the captain adds himself to the list of goal scorers it is easier to bring home the result”.
