Marcus Thuram and Ange Bonny are candidates to form the starting attacking pair for Inter–Parma, scheduled for Saturday at San Siro. According to Sky Sport, the two are ahead in the race for a starting spot, thanks to the delayed return of Lautaro Martinez and Pio Esposito, who will only arrive at Appiano Gentile on Thursday.

The Frenchman and the Ivorian both have a special connection with Parma: Thuram was born and raised in the Emilian city, while Bonny wore the yellow and blue shirt two seasons ago. The advantage they have over their two competitors comes from having already trained longer at the Nerazzurri sports center.

The conditions of the two returning players will need to be assessed before making a decision. On paper, however, Thuram seems the most certain to start, while Bonny still has a good chance of lining up alongside him in the match that marks the resumption of the league.
