One of the great merits that all Inter fans are recognizing in the new coach Cristian Chivu is undoubtedly his ability to revitalize all the members of the squad and to involve every player he has at his disposal. The morale in the Nerazzurri dressing room is in fact very good and everyone has had their chance.

The only player who has not yet had any opportunities is Tomas Palacios. The young Argentine defender has never convinced either Inzaghi or Chivu, and so in January he could say goodbye. As reported by today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, with his departure a new addition to the defensive department for Inter will be automatic:

“Because Palacios, aside from the injury of these past weeks, has never pushed Chivu to give him a chance. Quite telling, considering the new coach’s policy of wanting to involve practically everyone. In January it is more than likely that their paths will part: in that case, a move for an incoming player will also be automatic.”
