One of the biggest disappointments of the last summer transfer window for Inter remains without a doubt Luis Henrique, who arrived from Marseille for 23 million euros and so far has not managed to make any impact. In the last few matches, Chivu has preferred to deploy Carlos Augusto on the right as an alternative when Dumfrires needed to rest.

According to today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter has decided to keep the Brazilian on the bench for the next matches because he is not able to make the impact that was hoped for. In fact, he wasted the two opportunities he had as a starter against Cagliari and Verona, thus ending up on the sidelines. This is the opinion of the newspaper:

“The winger who grew up at Botafogo has so far stood out more for his shyness and fear of making mistakes than for those speedy dribbles that had made him a regular presence in De Zerbi’s Marseille and that, in Inter’s plans, were supposed to add unpredictability to the Nerazzurri’s play. Five months after his arrival in Milan, however, Luis Henrique still fails to convince, just as in his first appearances as an Inter player.”
