The excellent run of Inter in the Champions League in recent seasons is now almost no longer news. The Nerazzurri, both with Simone Inzaghi previously on the bench and now with Cristian Chivu, are always the Italian team that is managing to achieve the best results in European competitions, and this is also reflected in the UEFA ranking.
In the updated UEFA ranking of all clubs that have participated in a European competition in the last 5 years, the high position of Inter stands out. The Nerazzurri are in third place with 121,250 points, behind Bayern Munich (with 122,250 points), with whom they are fighting for second place, behind a Real Madrid that is instead firmly in first position.
Completing the top 10 behind the Nerazzurri, in order of ranking: Manchester City, Liverpool, PSG, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, and Arsenal. The other Italian teams are further behind and pay for their few successes in European competitions: Roma 14th, Atalanta 17th, Fiorentina and Milan 24th, Juventus 26th, and Napoli 30th.
