The victory in the derby bears the signature of Pulisic, who commented on Milan‘s success against Inter to Sky Sport with measured tones, immediately shifting the focus to the work that still needs to be done.
“We started very well with intensity and physicality: this victory is very important. It’s nice to score in the derby, but only if we win,” said the American forward, drawing a clear distinction between personal satisfaction and the collective result.
On the topic of the scudetto, Pulisic preferred not to fuel premature enthusiasm. “For us, these are three very important points, but we need to find consistency in winning every match,” he stated. A clear message, addressed to the group even before those outside it.
When asked if his performance in big matches had surprised him, the answer was direct: “We always play well in big matches, it’s not a surprise: we did things well.”
