Roberto Mancini, head coach of the National Team, spoke to the microphones present at the Gran Gala del Calcio AIC, an event held at the Teatro alla Scala. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the coach outlined his ideas for the future of the Azzurri team, focusing on some key players for the upcoming matches.

“We need to work on the midfield and attack, but I am happy to have Pio Esposito,” declared Mancini. The coach then added a comparison with the past: “We won the European Championship with Immobile who was playing for the sixth-placed team in the league, now instead we have a starter from Inter.”

The head coach then concluded by mentioning another striker he intends to rely on: “And let’s not forget Kean.”
