Andy Diouf spoke to DAZN at the end of the match against Venezia, focusing both on the Nerazzurri’s performance and the immediate future.
“We did the most important thing, which was to win the match. We knew it wouldn’t be easy against a team like Venezia,” said the Inter midfielder.
On the tactical side, Diouf acknowledged some difficulties: “It’s not easy to find space against teams that play with a low block. We need to play faster and try to look for the shot. It happens to us often, in every match we control the game.”
Inevitably, he referred to the next challenge: “Obviously it’s a very important match for us, we can’t wait. But today’s match was just as important. Now we’re thinking about the derby, we have to win.”
