On the airwaves of Tuttomercatoweb.com, Pancaro outlined the title race and the current moment of Milan, expressing some reservations about the Rossoneri team and the defensive solidity of Inter.

Regarding Milan, Pancaro distinguishes between potential and playing identity: “The squad definitely convinces me. A strong team, capable of competing for a Champions League spot, for the top positions.” The limitation, however, lies elsewhere: “I’m not convinced by the fact that after 4 months of work, we still don’t see a Milan with a clear identity. In my opinion, it’s still a team searching for its own way of holding the pitch, of playing. An identity that, at the moment, is still not clear.”

On the Nerazzurri front, the former defender confirms the reigning champions as favorites, but points out a concern: “Inter definitely remains the strongest team, the overwhelming favorite to win the title. But they need to find a remedy for all these goals they concede, for the fact that they always go behind. In the long run, it could be a problem.”

Pancaro then identifies Roma as the main threat in the title race: “This year Roma, back there, is a very dangerous team. A team that, if it stays attached until the end, can fight for the title.” He concludes with a mention of Lazio: “Hoping that Lazio can repeat Ranieri’s Leicester fairy tale.”
