Spalletti's mother has passed away, Inter's message

Ilva, mother of Luciano Spalletti, has passed away. The news has caused deep sorrow in the football world, with several clubs expressing their condolences to the coach and his family during this time of mourning.

Inter, which Spalletti managed from 2017 to 2019, published a message through its official channels: “President Giuseppe Marotta and all of FC Internazionale Milano express their condolences and stand close to Luciano Spalletti and his family for the passing of his mother Ilva.”

Napoli, with whom the coach recently won the Scudetto, also joined in the condolences. The Neapolitan club wrote: “President Aurelio De Laurentiis and all of SSC Napoli stand by mister Luciano Spalletti in this moment of deep sorrow for the loss of his dear mother Ilva.”
