Inter is working to satisfy Chivu, who has identified Curtis Jones as the ideal reinforcement for the midfield. Liverpool values the Englishman at 40 million, a sum the Nerazzurri intend to raise through the sale of surplus players.

The management at Viale della Liberazione prefers to allocate the available budget (between 35 and 40 million) to other targets. The strategy, therefore, is to wait for a possible drop in Jones‘ price in the second half of August and, in the meantime, build up a nest egg from outgoing transfers.

According to Tuttosport, among the players set to leave, Frattesi represents the potentially most profitable deal. The Roman midfielder, always smiling and appreciated by fans during the training camp in Donaueschingen, could leave for 25 million. However, the issue is the lack of concrete suitors: Juventus, Napoli, and Roma have pulled out in recent weeks, while Nottingham Forest, after contacts in January and June, has not made any further concrete moves.

As for Asllani, valued at around 12 million, the main interest comes from Sassuolo. Talks with Besiktas also remain alive, despite the Turkish club not exercising the purchase option at the end of June. A meeting is also expected between Inter and Monza for Akinsanmiro: the Nigerian should move to Brianza on loan with an option to buy and a counter-option in favor of the Nerazzurri, who would thus retain control over the future of the former Pisa player.

Massolin could also end up under Juric‘s guidance. If plans are confirmed, the Frenchman will travel with the team for the Asian tour: Chivu will complete his assessment of the former Modena player. At the moment, the player’s entourage has not received any formal offers, but it is plausible that in mid-August he could leave on loan to gain experience in Serie A.
