Inter is reconsidering its priorities in the transfer market. After missing out on Palestra and Khalaili, the Nerazzurri club seems inclined to redirect the largest sum earmarked for reinforcements to a different target.
According to Corriere della Sera, there is a growing belief within the club not to use the funds for a right winger, but instead to allocate them to other areas. One name stands out above all: Romero. Talks have begun with the defender’s agents.
This change of course marks a turning point compared to the initial plans, which had identified the right flank as the main target for summer investments. The management now seems intent on focusing the available resources on strengthening the defense.
