Several months in advance of the next summer transfer window, Inter is already studying a new possible profit to be scored. Indeed, one of the talents under the Nerazzurri club’s control has attracted the interest of multiple top clubs, especially in the Premier League.
As reported this morning by Il Resto del Carlino, at the end of the season, Inter could exercise the right to repurchase the tag of Giovanni Fabbian. The midfielder, sold last year to Bologna for 5 million euros, could return to Nerazzurri by summer 2025 for a sum equal to 12 million.
A concrete idea from around Viale della Liberazione for at least two reasons. First, because the 2003-born player has already shown exponential growth in his first year in the red and blue jersey and could also be useful in Simone Inzaghi’s future Inter. Secondly, because several clubs have knocked on the door of the Nerazzurri association asking for information about the midfielder.
In particular, a couple of English clubs and Roma have shown an initial interest in Fabbian. After exercising the option on the midfielder, Inter would thus be guaranteed to immediately sell his tag, earning about double the investment disbursed. In fact, there is talk of a valuation between 20 and 25 million euros, an enticing opportunity to score a substantial profit.
However, it is not ruled out that Bologna may want to appear as early as January from Inter to ask to renegotiate the repurchase right in the hands of the Nerazzurri, so as to have total ownership of Fabbian’s tag.
