Cagliari has acquired Yanis Massolin from Inter. The deal, anticipated in recent days, was confirmed through an official statement from the Nerazzurri club: “FC Internazionale Milano announces the transfer of Yanis Massolin to Cagliari. The midfielder, born in 2002, moves on a temporary basis with an option to buy and a counter-option.”

The Frenchman’s transfer takes place in the form of a loan for the 2026/27 season. According to available information, Cagliari will be able to make the acquisition permanent by paying 7 million euros, while the club from Viale della Liberazione will have the right to exercise the counter-buyback for an investment of 8.5 million.

Massolin, a midfielder born in 2002, therefore temporarily leaves Milan to continue his experience in Sardinia, where he will have the opportunity to play regularly with the island team.
