The victory of Inter at the home of Feyenoord with at least three goals difference has written a page of history in the Champions League. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, only three teams have managed to win at De Kuip by this margin in the European competition.

The Nerazzurri thus enter a very exclusive circle, made up of only two other clubs. The first is Manchester City, who in 2017-18 won 4-0 in the group stage thanks to a brace from Stones — now at Inter — and goals from Aguero and Gabriel Jesus. The second is Bayer Leverkusen, who achieved the feat in 2024 on the first day of the league phase.

Inter is therefore the third team in the history of the Champions League to achieve this result on Dutch soil, in the company of two clubs that have written important pages in the competition in recent years.
