After the defeat in the derby, Chivu‘s Inter faces Feyenoord this evening at the De Kuip in Rotterdam on the fourth day of the League Phase. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri team is called to win in order to climb up the standings, after the victory against Shakhtar and the defeats to Real Madrid and Bruges.

The absence of Bastoni due to suspension reshapes the defense: Akanji should play as the central defender, flanked by Carlos Augusto and Bisseck as side defenders. In goal will be Pepo Martinez.

In midfield, Calhanoglu will take the playmaker role, with Zielinski and Barella as central midfielders. On the wings, Spence could be confirmed again on the right from the start after the derby, while Dimarco will play on the opposite side.

In attack, both Pio Esposito and Bonny have recovered, but only the former is expected to start alongside Thuram. The former Parma player is expected to be an option from the bench in the second half.
