Speaking to Sky Sport, Florenzi commented on Inter‘s away match in Rotterdam against Feyenoord, highlighting the dangers of a game that is anything but simple for the Nerazzurri.
“Tonight for Inter it’s a tough match because Feyenoord hasn’t lost at home for a long time. Knowing that the Nerazzurri have this small flaw, they will start stronger than they usually do, and they always start at full throttle,” said the former Milan and Roma player.
Florenzi then broadened his analysis to the current moment of the Nerazzurri team, referring to the difficulties that emerged in the recent derby: “This is where the Inter team needs to do well, as I saw them struggling against Milan, even though, as Chivu said, if he could have made the changes earlier, he would have, but maybe he thought about not risking some players in the league, where there are 38 matches, whereas in the CL it’s a do-or-die game.”
According to Florenzi, therefore, the key will be Inter’s ability to withstand the initial impact of a Feyenoord side that is historically tough at home and used to starting with great intensity.
