Carrarese has shown interest in Matteo Cocchi, a left-back from Bologna born in 2007. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Tuscan club has joined the strong competition for the young full-back.

In recent days, Pisa, Catanzaro, and Padova had already come forward, with bids and counter-bids to secure the player’s services for next season. However, Carrarese appears to be behind its rival clubs, particularly Catanzaro and Padova.

The final decision from Inter and the player is expected during the week. The Nerazzurri will still retain control of Cocchi’s registration, allowing him to gain experience in Serie B. In the Under 23 team, Mattia Marello from the Primavera is set for promotion in his place.
