Inter is preparing for a summer that will be anything but conservative. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a real revolution is on the way, dictated by age and expiring contracts. From Yann Sommer to Francesco Acerbi, passing through Stefan De Vrij, Matteo Darmian and Henrikh Mkhitaryan: several veterans are destined to say goodbye.

It should also be considered that some players might already have their bags packed, such as Davide Frattesi, who has long been on the edge and could leave if the right offer comes in.

And it is precisely from these departures – between the end of a cycle and possible sacrifices – that the new Nerazzurri transfer market will be born: the sales will serve to finance targeted signings and to change the face of the team.

The priority is clear: “a big and strong midfielder is needed”, and the name at the top of the list, it reads, is Manu Koné. The Frenchman represents not only the ideal profile, but the real main target to strengthen the heart of the team.

On the right wing, the dream of Marco Palestra is still alive: 21 years old, Italian talent and great potential. The operation is complex due to a valuation close to 50 million and a possible delicate negotiation with Atalanta.

In defense, however, the obsession remains Tarik Muharemovic, a left-footer from Sassuolo who fits the profile sought by the management. The interest in Oumar Solet is also still alive, an old target of the club: “the obstacles that have so far prevented the arrival of the big French center-back from Udinese could fall,” concludes Gazzetta.
