The journalist Sandro Sabatini, speaking during the Sportmediaset news, gave an initial assessment of the transfer campaigns of the main Serie A teams, reserving a harsh judgment for Inter.
The Nerazzurri team received a rating of 5.5, considered insufficient for the needs of the squad. According to Sabatini, the transfer market is not yet complete: replacements for Dumfries and the De Vrij–Acerbi duo are missing. Pavard alone is not enough to cover the defensive needs, while negotiations for Palestra and Khalaili have stalled for different reasons.
A situation that also worries Chivu, who in the meantime will try Diouf in a new role. Reinforcements are needed, especially on the right flank, to complete the squad.
The same rating (5.5) for Napoli. Despite a large squad, two crucial issues remain: the integration of De Bruyne and the management of Lukaku. There is also a lack of a reliable alternative to Di Lorenzo, a key player given the busy schedule with the Champions League.
An even harsher judgment for Roma, stuck at 5. Qualification for the Champions has brought financial resources, but the team needs a high-level alternative to Dybala, who cannot bear the weight of all the season’s matches. The names linked – Greenwood, Summerville, Moreira – have not yet arrived, and reinforcements are missing on the wings.
The highest rating (8) goes to Milan. After initial criticism, the ownership invested around 100 million euros, bringing in two starters: Gonzalo Ramos in attack and Mario Gila in defense. The only question mark concerns the future of Leão, whom the club, however, does not intend to sell off.
Juventus closes with a 5. The Bianconeri are far from complete: according to Spalletti‘s indications, at least four additions are needed (goalkeeper, defender, quality midfielder, and striker). The Vlahović issue also remains open. There is trust in the abilities of Carnevali and Massara, but the transfer market will still have to get into full swing.
