The adventure of Matteo Darmian at Inter ended at the end of the season with the expiration of his contract. The Nerazzurri club had offered him a role off the pitch, but the full-back chose to continue his playing career.

According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations are underway between the defender’s entourage and Torino for a one-year contract. It would be a return: Darmian wore the Granata shirt from 2011 to 2015, before moving to Manchester United.

After his English experience, the wing-back played for Parma and then Inter, where he arrived in 2020. Now he could return to play for Cairo‘s club, thus closing the circle with the team that launched him into top-level football.
