Inter has strengthened the squad with targeted signings from the Premier League. Marianella, speaking to Sky Sport, analyzed the new arrivals for the Nerazzurri, focusing in particular on three English profiles who are changing the face of the team.
The commentator expressed great admiration for Spence, who arrived from Tottenham: “Inter was already strong before and is becoming even stronger. They have signed an excellent player in Spence, who will make a difference in Italy. He can play on both the right and left, he is extraordinary in the offensive phase of build-up and also in defense.” The English winger is considered a high-quality reinforcement for both flanks.
Attention then shifted to Curtis Jones, a midfielder whom Chivu has been waiting for some time. “If the Nerazzurri club were to sign Curtis Jones as well, he is an extremely versatile player. At Liverpool, he has played in all three midfield roles, in all three positions. He has played as a left winger in the attacking trio and has also played as an alternative right-back. So the English club has also used a midfielder in the defender’s role. He’s the classic player you don’t notice much on the pitch, he doesn’t catch your eye but you feel his presence a lot,” said Marianella about the target followed by Ausilio.
In addition to Spence, Stones has also joined the Nerazzurri from the Premier League, helping to make the squad even more competitive compared to last season, which ended with the league title.
