At Inter, work is beginning in earnest on outgoing transfers. The squad needs to be trimmed and several incoming operations depend on the sale of players who are not part of Chivu‘s plans. The biggest congestion concerns the midfield, so much so that it is slowing down moves for Jones, the target of the Nerazzurri coach.
The first news comes precisely from the midfield. Sassuolo has shown interest in Kristjan Asllani, who is coming off loans at Torino and Besiktas. The Emilia-based club is looking for reinforcements in that role after the serious injury to Konè and the probable departure of Thorstvedt, according to Corriere dello Sport.
However, the terms of the deal still need to be defined. At Viale Liberazione, the preference is for a permanent sale, with a request close to 10 million euros. In the meantime, Monza has asked for Akinsanmiro and Massolin, both on loan. The Nerazzurri club has opened up to the possibility, but negotiations are still being explored. In any case, the intention is not to completely lose control over the young players.
Beyond the three midfielders mentioned, the most delicate situation remains that of Davide Frattesi. The departure seems certain, but the destination is still unknown. Nottingham Forest has not made further contact, while the former Sassuolo player continues to hope for Spalletti and Juventus.
