On the eve of the anticipated draw for the group stage of the new 2025 Club World Cup, we simulated with artificial intelligence what could be the group that Simone Inzaghi’s Inter team will face.

By entering various parameters, including the impossibility for the black and blue team to meet in their own group the four big European teams of the first tier – Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain – due to ranking, this is the result provided by the simulation that gave rise to a hypothetical group of Inter:

  • First tier: River Plate Argentina
  • Second tier: Inter Italy
  • Third tier: Ulsan HD South Korea
  • Fourth tier: Mamelodi Sundowns South Africa

A group that on paper would not be prohibitive for the Black and Blues. Apart from River Plate, a team always very dangerous both for history and for the enormous amount of talent produced year after year, such a group could hold few dangers for a top club like Inter, by far the favorite compared to the other contenders.

Only tomorrow, starting at 19:00, we can however discover the real adversaries in Inter’s group and the composition of all eight groups of this first phase in the draw that will take place in Miami 13 local hours.
