According to the analysis by Calcio e Finanza in the initial documents relating to the 2025-2026 financial statements of F.C. Internazionale Milano, the Nerazzurri club has set out in writing the minimum sporting objectives that the team is required to achieve in the current financial year, in relation to business continuity and the financial resources actually available.
The document explicitly refers to the support of the owning fund: “The Shareholder Oaktree, through a company belonging to its group, has confirmed its commitment to support the Parent Company from a financial and equity perspective, also taking into account the prospective investments for the new stadium project.”
Three minimum thresholds have been set by the directors for the 2026/27 season: a third-place finish in Serie A, qualification for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, and reaching the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia. These are the results that Cristian Chivu’s team must guarantee according to the plan approved by the club.
