From the number of bathrooms to spaces dedicated to people with disabilities, including refreshment points and premium areas: the Generali Stadium promises a clear leap forward compared to San Siro in terms of services for the public. The features of the future facility for Inter and Milan are described by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
In terms of visibility, the project aims to guarantee every spectator the best conditions to follow the match, regardless of the chosen section. The seating offer will be broad: from sky boxes to popular sections, with solutions designed for different types of audiences.
Dozens of refreshment points will be located in the internal corridors, following the model of international stadiums. The range will go from restaurants to fast food kiosks. Restroom facilities will also be multiplied compared to the current situation, with a clear improvement in overall conditions.
One of the most significant innovations concerns accessibility. People with disabilities will be able to reach all sections of the stadium — a condition that is currently not guaranteed — thanks to the presence of elevators distributed across the various levels of the facility. Some Premium seats will include access to the Tunnel Club, structured on two levels, with the possibility of watching the players enter the field through a glass wall.
