The Nerazzurri medical staff’s goal at the moment is to get him back in shape by the weekend, but with the aim of returning the player to Chivu ahead of the crucial Champions League away match on Wednesday, November 26, at Atletico Madrid.
As we have been reporting for days, it therefore looks likely that Carlos Augusto will start on the right flank. The Brazilian is clearly favored over his compatriot Luis Henrique, while Darmian is returning from a long calf injury and, even if he recovers, would not be ready to start the match.
