Slightly ahead of the initial forecasts, Mkhitaryan is about to return to Cristian Chivu‘s disposal. Just over a month after the muscle injury suffered during Napoli-Inter last October 25, the Armenian midfielder has almost completely finished his rehabilitation program and will return to group training next week.
The former Roma player will clearly not be available either on Sunday evening against Milan, nor a few days later when Inter will play in Madrid in the Champions League match against Atletico. The first call-up for Mkhitaryan should instead come for the league match against Pisa scheduled for Sunday, November 30.
Once again, the midfielder has managed to speed up his recovery: the doctors’ initial goal was to have him available to Chivu for the early December matches against Venezia in the Coppa Italia or Como in Serie A. But the hard work done in recent weeks has allowed Mkhitaryan to improve his condition day by day and to anticipate his return to the group by a week.
