Until a few months ago, his departure seemed inevitable, but the former Lazio player’s fate has completely changed. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter has already decided to activate a specific clause in De Vrij’s contract to renew the agreement that binds the two parties and extend it for an additional season, thus moving the expiry date to June 2026. This is good news for the black and blue defense department in view of the summer changes that might occur.
