Today, the Inter Primavera team took to the field for a midweek championship round, and it was a great game for the entire young black and blue squad. The team, coached by Andrea Zanchetta in this 26th round of the Primavera 1 championship, crushed Monza 4-1 at home.
De Pieri, who has already debuted in the Champions League with Inzaghi’s first team against Monaco, was again the one to open the scoring in the first half. In the second half, goals from Spinaccè, Topalovic and Cocchi were added to secure the win before Monza’s consolation goal in stoppage time.
In the Primavera 1 championship standings, Inter is now second with 52 points, tied with Roma and one point behind first-placed Fiorentina. However, the Giallorossi and Viola still have games to play and will do so tomorrow against Hellas Verona and Atalanta respectively.
