Statements made by Alessandro Costacurta last Monday evening have sparked discussions. This happened on the occasion of the AIC football grand gala, where all the awards for the last season of Serie A were given.
The former Milan footballer was reached by What a Hard Life as a Striker along with other personalities from the world of football and beyond. He was asked to name the best coach in the history of the Italian championship. After careful consideration, Costacurta mentioned Simone Inzaghi, the current coach of Inter.
His answer sparked many reactions on social media, even though Costacurta justified his choice by acknowledging the immense difficulty of preferring only one of the many coaches he had during his career: How can I choose between Sacchi, Capello, and Ancelotti?.
