Last formation doubts in the mind of Cristian Chivu one day before the postponed match of the eleventh round of the championship between Inter-Lazio. The Romanian coach still has several uncertainties to resolve and hopes to have a somewhat clearer idea at the end of the team’s final training session at Appiano Gentile scheduled for this morning.
As written by Corriere dello Sport, the first selection dilemmas arise in defense where Acerbi is in the running to regain a starting spot after three consecutive games on the bench. However, the central defender will have to compete with Yann Bisseck, who in the same position has not disappointed Chivu either against Fiorentina or away at Verona.
In place of the injured Mkhitaryan, the favorite remains Petar Sucic, with Zielinski pushing from behind. The main doubt, however, concerns the attack: Chivu has not yet definitively chosen who will be the partner of Lautaro Martinez. Thuram returned for a handful of minutes against Kairat, but physically he is still not at his best after the injury that kept him sidelined for over a month.
