The 4-3 defeat against Club Brugge leaves Inter with more than a few regrets after a complicated European evening at the Meazza. Despite attempts to come back until the final whistle, the Nerazzurri’s reaction was not enough to avoid defeat.

At the end of the match, Chivu analyzed the game on Inter TV. The coach identified the second half as the moment when the team lost its way: “We had the right reaction in the first half where we maintained a high level of intensity, in the second half we created chances but then a bit of frenzy set in and we lost clarity and started to improvise and do things that are not typical of a mature team.”

While acknowledging his team’s limitations, the coach also gave credit to the opponents: “We must also give credit to the opponents who came here with quality.” The overall assessment remains bitter, but the focus is already on the upcoming matches: “There is regret and disappointment, but there are 6 games left and we have to do better than we have done so far.”
