According to Corriere dello Sport, it is likely that the Swiss player will follow the path of the three internationals already integrated, starting athletic tests at Pinetina while the team is in Australia.

Akanji would join the group at the end of the tour, in the same days when Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram are also expected, the two Inter players who went furthest in the last World Cup.
