Which Inter fan wouldn’t dream of meeting Lautaro Martinez? The young Milanese artist, Andrea Gasparro, known as Sorte, managed to do just that and was even contacted on social media by the Inter **captain** himself after he saw a **mural** dedicated to him.

Among the various works that Sorte has chosen to dedicate to the world of sports, there is one representing **Lautaro Martinez** located just a few kilometers from the **San Siro** stadium. After seeing the images on social media, Inter’s number 10 reached out to Andrea on Instagram and **invited** him to **Appiano Gentile**. We had the chance to have him **tell us** this story.

**Hi Andrea, tell us a little about yourself. What kind of artist are you and what do you like to do?**
*I am an urban artist and designer from Milan. I use letters as a distinguishing feature to create my works. My focus is to bring my art to as many places around the world as possible.*

**Was Lautaro’s piece your first work about football or sports?**
*Among my research in recent years, I have started creating portraits. Even though I’m more passionate about football than basketball, I have a cultural association called ‘Alleyhood’ through which we promote the values of sports and art! In the two editions of our event, I made a portrait of Michael Jordan 3.5m x 3m and a slightly smaller one of Kobe Bryant. I enjoy approaching this theme, trying to represent champions who, through sport, found a way out from their original life circumstances.*

**We know it was the Inter captain himself who invited you to Appiano Gentile. How did that happen?**
*It happened thanks to a message on Instagram where the captain thanked me for the mural and asked for directions to find it. From there we exchanged a few messages, which led to the invitation to Appiano Gentile for the delivery of the painting.*

**What was it like to meet Lautaro in person?**
*It was a really powerful emotion, a meeting I think I’ll never forget for the rest of my life, even though it only lasted a few minutes. He seemed, at first impression, to be a good and very approachable person, cheerful and kind! I hope it’s just the first of many more occasions.*

**Can you share any fun facts from your visit to Inter’s sports center?**
*A funny thing: when we arrived, we introduced ourselves to the security at the sports center, and they indicated it would be unlikely for us to get in. Then, after showing them the messages with Lautaro, within a few minutes we were called and given passes to enter.*

**You are also a huge Inter fan. How did your passion start?**
*My passion started when I was a child, thanks to my family. I have always loved football and played since I was little. My father used to take my brother and me to the stadium when we were kids, and every time I walked in, it was an incredible emotion to see the field and the players live.*

**How do you rate Inter’s season so far, and what are your thoughts on the final stretch?**
*I think this has been a great season for Inter, a united team. It seems there’s a strong spirit of unity and friendship among the players. I think that’s essential because, in sport as in art, what always matters is shared passion and knowing how to have fun with what you do. I think it’s a great season because we’re still competing on three fronts and trying our best to finish everything in the best possible way! I’m superstitious so I don’t want to say too much, I just hope the players stay hungry and eager to keep winning.*

**What other projects do you have planned for the future? Will Inter always be involved?**
*For the future, I have several projects underway, including portraits of other Inter players. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but another one will appear soon. I always have a huge desire to experiment, and I would love to be able to connect with my favorite team. I hope the club may involve me in something special in the future.*
