Injuries are pushing the management of Inter to consider a possible move in attack. According to Fabrizio Romano on YouTube, the Nerazzurri club is facing a concrete decision: to understand if and how to add a fifth striker to the squad.
“It’s up to Inter to decide whether to get a fifth forward and, above all, with what characteristics. In the summer, a couple of evaluations were made; Inter would have signed a player with different characteristics, not a number nine,” said Romano, recalling how the issue had already been addressed at the end of the summer, but no signing was made.
On the Icardi front, the journalist added: “He would be very happy to return, but it’s up to the club to decide what to do. The Nerazzurri have always closed the door because they felt comfortable with four strikers.” A return that therefore depends exclusively on an internal decision, not on a lack of willingness from the player.
The situation remains open. Inter will assess whether to intervene and, if so, what profile to look for on the market.
