The future of Calhanoglu is a hot topic just a few months before his contract with Inter expires in June. During the latest episode of Pressing, journalist Carlo Pellegatti hinted at what could be the next club for the Turkish midfielder, should he fail to reach an agreement for renewal with the Nerazzurri.
The revelation drew attention for the geographical reference used: “Just think, I know where Calhanoglu will go if he leaves Inter next year. I’ll say it slowly: maybe he won’t go to the mountains, but perhaps to Lake Como,” said Pellegatti.
The reference to Lake Como suggests a sensational possible destination for the Turk, should the renewal with Inter not go through.
