After the defeat in the derby against Milan, Paolo Di Canio commented on Inter‘s performance to the microphones of Sky Calcio Club, with clear words about the Nerazzurri’s difficulties in comparison with the Rossoneri.
“Inter suffers against Milan regardless,” said the former striker. “The team goes into terror, especially after the 3-1. Barella commits the foul and it’s very serious, the one from which the 3-1 comes. We were already saying it: random backheels and everything. They confirm it themselves with their words that maybe they’ve lost hunger, maybe they say they’ve become complacent, we didn’t make it up.”
Di Canio then broadened his judgment to the overall situation of the club: “They remain the strongest team, but against Milan they didn’t recover. It’s a team that has problems, in any case they need to get players back.”
The former striker concluded with a prediction about Curtis Jones: “Remember: Curtis Jones will be a starter. He brings pressing and also helps in front of the defense, you’ll see he will play, he’s the most evolved.”
