Diouf after Venezia-Inter: “Now focus on the derby, every day I feel better on the right wing”

Speaking to Sky Sport, Diouf spoke immediately after the final whistle of Venezia–Inter, analyzing the performance of the Nerazzurri and already looking ahead to the next match.

“It’s never easy to play against this team away from home, but the important thing is the victory and now we are focused on a great match. We play every three days, but that’s how it is, we have to win every game. In the first half we struggled a bit against their low block, in the second half we did better. When you play for a club like Inter, you always have to win. We made a good start, but we have to keep going like this, it’s only the beginning.”

He then answered questions about the derby and his adaptation to the right wing: “It’s an important match for us and for the fans, we want to win it and we are very excited. As I say every time, the most important thing is to be on the pitch. Every day I feel better and better in this position, I feel good and I try to give my best in training.”
