According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, at Inter the contract renewal chapter is about to enter a crucial phase with three well-defined priorities, while the situation of Carlos Augusto has already been resolved.
The renewal of the player will be announced shortly with an expiration date of 2031, making this the first item on the contract extension agenda.
The next negotiation to tackle will be with Calhanoglu. The Turkish midfielder is the most urgent case: according to the newspaper, there is a real risk that he could leave on a free transfer if an agreement is not reached within a reasonable timeframe. Immediately after, it will be Dimarco‘s turn, for whom the club has already activated the contractual clause binding him to Inter until 2028.
For both players, the situation remains open and to be defined in the coming months. There will also be time to further examine the dossier related to Thuram, whose renewal is also on the management’s agenda.
