Petar Sucic scored the opening goal against Parma and received the MVP award, but at the end of the match, speaking to DAZN, he preferred to keep the spotlight on the team rather than on himself.
“I’m happy, we played an excellent match,” declared the Inter midfielder. “I won the MVP but the most important thing is that we won and that they didn’t have any chances. We have to be happy.”
The midfielder then responded to those who in recent weeks had discussed his situation regarding playing time: “I don’t want to talk much about other things: it’s too early to talk about playing time now, we’ll see in 2-3 months.” A firm stance, which at least for now puts an end to outside speculation.
“I was only thinking about the minutes, not about playing for the club,” added Sucic. “Everyone can talk and say what they want, but I know what I want to do and for me it’s important to play and help the team.”
