During an appearance on the Sky Sport 24 schedule, former footballer Costacurta responded to the words spoken by Chivu in the press conference on the eve of the match against Parma. The Inter coach had expressed a certain impatience regarding the fact that the Nerazzurri team is unanimously indicated as the best in Italy, with the resulting pressures.
Costacurta’s reply is direct: “I honestly don’t understand Chivu. It doesn’t seem to me that there are so many doubts if there are 99 million people saying that Inter is the strongest team in Italy. With these performances, there isn’t much else to say. It seems like we’re jinxing them.”
According to the former defender, recognizing the superiority of the Nerazzurri is simply a consequence of the performances on the field, not a factor of artificial pressure.
