Trevisani: Inter is worth 95 points, the reserves are fighting for the Champions League

Riccardo Trevisani dedicated an in-depth analysis to Chivu‘s Inter during the show Fontana di Trevi. The journalist praised the Nerazzurri squad, claiming that the current team is actually worth 95 points in the league.

The analysis starts from the match against Cagliari, when the Nerazzurri showed up without eleven players: Provedel, Bisseck, Carlos Augusto, Spence, Diouf, Zielinski, Curtis Jones, Stankovic, Thuram and Bonny. “Without these people, Inter is at the top of the table, there are 11 players who could fight for the Champions League,” said Trevisani, highlighting how the team was leading despite the absences and how these eleven players have the potential to fight for the Champions League.

The comparison with last season highlights the progress made: “Last year Inter got 90 points without a goalkeeper and almost without a right winger.” This year, according to the journalist, the team has improved the goalkeeper and with the growth of Diouf and the arrival of Spence has improved the right winger position, not compared to Dumfries but compared to the one who played last year. Luis Henrique, in fact, only played five months as a starter: “So strong that they wanted to sell him and put Diouf out of position rather than see him on the pitch.”
