The victory against Fiorentina by 2-1 brought Inter back to the top of the standings, with Thuram and Zielinski (from the penalty spot) overturning the result in the final minutes. However, it is a success that comes with both positives and negatives, as highlighted by Tuttosport.
On the positive side, the Nerazzurri have reached a total of 13 points earned from comebacks: a figure that, according to the newspaper, “is what should worry their rivals the most.” Compared to last season, the tally has increased by 7 points.
However, there is a downside. In the first 8 league matches, Chivu‘s team has fallen behind with a frequency that, according to Tuttosport itself, “almost no one notices anymore.” Yet the statistic deserves attention: the Nerazzurri have gone two goals down against Napoli, Udinese, and Roma, and one goal down against Bologna and, most recently, Fiorentina itself.
