After the training camp in Germany, Inter returned to Milan to prepare for the next stage of their summer preparations. Today, after the afternoon training session and dinner at Appiano Gentile, the team will leave around 10 p.m. for the tour in Asia and Oceania.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will land in Hong Kong tomorrow around 5 p.m. local time. The little time available to recover from the time zone difference will not prevent the team from taking the field already on Friday for the first training session, followed by the pre-match press conference. On Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. Italian time, a prestigious friendly against Manchester City is scheduled.
Immediately after the match, Chivu‘s team will move to Perth, Australia, where they will arrive on Sunday morning. Here, two more friendlies are scheduled: on Wednesday, August 5, the derby with Milan at 1 p.m. Italian time, and on Saturday the 8th at the same time, the derby d’Italia against Juventus. All matches will be broadcast by Sky and Dazn.
On the injury front, barring surprises, Asllani and Massolin will not leave for the tour. In their place, Akinsanmiro has been called up. It is not ruled out that Akanji could join the squad in Australia.
The schedule does not end here: on August 14, Inter will play another friendly in Bari, as happened last year against Olympiakos. This time the opponent will be a Spanish team, either Betis or Espanyol.
