After a standout season with the Primavera, Mattia Marello continues to impress. The left winger, born in 2008, was redeemed by Udinese in the summer after an excellent year with Benito Carbone‘s Under 20 team, distinguished himself in the friendly against Karlsruhe and is gaining more and more space in the Nerazzurri project.

According to Tuttosport, the young Friulian has all the characteristics to be considered, in the future, as a potential heir to Federico Dimarco. His left foot is refined, he has the personality to take set pieces, while his tactical acumen can improve, but the attitude is the right one. His growth path is also favored by the advice of Cristian Chivu and Aleksandar Kolarov.

Marello is quickly conquering the Inter world. In the last season, he collected 15 assists and 3 goals, establishing himself as the best left winger of the recently concluded Primavera championship. Performances that also earned him a call-up to the national team.

Before joining Inter’s training camp, at the end of June the 2008-born player was part of the Under 19 team that played in the European Championship, where he took the place initially reserved for Matteo Cocchi, another left winger owned by the Nerazzurri who has just moved on loan to Padova.
