Sabatini: with Diouf, Inter can save on the winger

Inter could change its transfer market plans thanks to the performances of Diouf. This is the reflection of Sandro Sabatini, who spoke to Radio Sportiva to analyze the young player’s moment and the Nerazzurri’s strategies.

The journalist expressed great appreciation for the qualities shown by the player: “With this Diouf, Inter can avoid signing another winger. I have always liked him, I have always glimpsed great qualities. I didn’t think he was so good even as a full-back on the flank. He scored two goals like Dumfries.”

Sabatini then suggested a different allocation of resources: “Inter, I don’t know why it has such a limited budget, but it can think about spending the money it had planned to invest in Palestra on a central defender. It’s not easy to replace Acerbi and De Vrij.”

The journalist’s conclusion highlighted the merits of the discovery: “Diouf can be an extra man, an interesting and also unexpected player. Credit to Chivu and also to Ausilio who signed him a year ago.”
